Our story

I am Lembi, a skilled craftswoman, artist and mother. Originally from Estonia, I have spent the last 15 years living in the UK. 

Creativity has always been a part of who I am. I was naturally drawn to traditional rug repair and restoration due to my love of heritage crafts and instinct to work carefully with beautiful handcrafted objects. After completing specialist training by Brio Carpet Care - one of the UK's most respected names in the field - I was hooked! 

I founded Heirloom after nearly a decade spent working in the jewellery industry, most recently at Cartier, where true craftsmanship was evident in everything we did. This experience shaped the values at the heart of Heirloom and reinforced my belief that every damaged rug deserves the same patience, precision and respect as any treasured work of art.

Every rug I restore is treated with meticulous attention to detail and a deep respect for its history. I believe that quality craftsmanship cannot be rushed, and I take the time needed to achieve the best possible result.
